Quartzsite & Yuma BLM

I left the day after George and Rosetta's renewal of vows and headed for Quartzsite, AZ with a goal to arrive by the 10th of January.
I spent a night at the Fort Gordon FAMCAMP. This was a great view but electric only and only 15 amps with cold temperatures. As you can see I did not unhook and was not level.

Then I stopped in Birmingham and visited with Steve Adams and Mary Baxley (Ann's baby brothers wife who helped Ann's sister, Barbara, take care of Ann until the Lord call her).

Next I stopped in Montgomery, Maxwell-Gunter FAMCAMP and visited with Ben Tadlock (Ann's sister's husband).
I spent a night at Keesler FAMCAMP, Egan, LA and Columbus, TX, arriving at San Antonio Joint Military FAMCAMP for four nights. Last year when I stopped here it rained and we did not do any sight seeing. Leonard and Marilyn Boyer were there. They were on their Honey Moon. We went down town to the Alamo. It wish interesting but I lost something that I expected seeing it in its current environment.
Then we went to the River Walk as shown in the map below.
My first introduction to the River Walk was this water that entered the Hotel on to the Canal known as the River walk.

Then we walk the canal / river.

We ended up where we started.
I stopped in Deming, NM at an Escapee's park and saw this paint job. I had to take a picture.
We stopped at Gila Bend, AZ for two night and moved to Quartzsite, AZ. This is a picture of us making part of the circle. Ron Helmick came out with his 4x4 and I put him to work.
The circle was made by Happy Hour Friday.
Any time there is over a week of camping with John he feeds his sour dough pancakes as well as those around who might like some.

The folks arrived and another successful gathering was had.

A friend of our circle owned the Drone Quad and brought it out to demo. He flew the circle and was able to capture the photo we used this year. The Ultra light also flew our circle as he has in the past.
Besides the normal Ultra Light fly bys we also had a hot air balloon.

We did have our own hot air balloon that was launched again this year remembering our lost love ones.
After the rally I had Level Ups installed to basically complete the modifications I could make to this RV trailer. No way can I sell it now. The level ups are six hydraulic cylinders, two on the nose and a pair on each side (one in front and one behind the tires). These level the RV just like a motor home and a lot faster.

I drove to Yuma, AZ. and am now parked at the Imperial Dam BLM like last year. The Hummers have found my feeder.
Curtis took this picture of my home during a beautiful sunrise. I was sitting on the other side drinking coffee and shooting pictures but none this great.
