I made a trip into Mexico even though I had no desire. I got my teeth cleaned for $20 with a 50% off coupon and had my eyes checked and then purchased two new sets of glasses for $200. One of the street vendors had 6" saw blades that caught my eye (the coyote). So we dickered and I got them to paint the Eagle. Both were $17. The painter was good. He took David's cane and painted it with the same eagle picture.
Now you can see the mounted on the wall bracketing my clock.
Kate gave me this water color painting she did. It is a nice piece of work and she has just started.
We moved up to Lake Havasu, AZ for the Western Winter Blast. The Fire works manufacturers put on fire works displays to potential buyers and we also get to see them. We were going to boon dock at the Steps about 15 miles south of the fire works display. Instead we moved up to the Rodeo grounds and boon docked there.
We paid for it but when we figured the cost of parking, entrance, food and water it balanced. out. Since the fire works grounds were a controlled area with no personal food or water it mades sense to be close by in the rodeo grounds with our rig.
Have I told you about the sun Rise and Sun Sets?
I got to fly my planes at the RC airfield a mile away.
Oh have I told you about the fire works. I am practicing different setting with my camera.
You get an at a boy and did a great job on the settings.
ReplyDeleteGreat post John. Love the saw blades and Kates artwork. too much more stuff in there though and you are going to need a third axle :-)
ReplyDeleteLove the photos of the fireworks. They came out great. Were you exposure bracketing? Fireworks is one of Kates absolute favorite things so now we have another place to go and see.
