Yosemite NP

Monday 22 April we toured a small portion of Yosemite NP. Our first stop was the ??, can you say large. I would say huge but I have not seen the Redwoods yet. I estimate between 200 and 300 feet.
My first shot of the Valley just before we go through the tunnel. El Capitan on the left, Clouds Rest and then Half Dome, Sentinel Rock, Cathedral Rock and Bridalveil Falls.
 Bridalveil Falls
Horsetail Falls, only runs in the spring just to the left of El Capitan.
Ann loved water and would have been playing in this snow fed, COLD, stream.
Bridalveil Falls in the back ground.
 Something for everyone.
 Upper Yosemite Falls.
Now that is a solid bench
Multiple shots of the Valley again from the tunnel viewing area.

One more of Bridalveil Falls with the wind making a veil.

  1. What a great time to be in a beautiful place... before the crowds.

Looks like you had good weather too! Another bonus day. Thanks for the photos. Loved them.
