Move to California

April 17th Dave and I visited the Pahrump Valley Winety. Free samples, up to seven flavors, and a tour. This is one of four winery's in Nevada. They have about 3 acres of vines and import the rest of their grapes from others in Nevada or California.

April 18th we left the SKP Pahrump, NV park heading to Coarsegold, Ca. That was a three day trip.
We stopped in Shoshone, CA  for pictures.
The sand in the back ground was very different
Yep long straights road but not as bad as Wyoming I here.
Can you say "WIND FARM". This was about 1/10 of them in this area.
We stopped at the Marine Corps Logistic Base FamCamp Barstow our first night, Thursday - no pictures.
The second night, Friday, was Bakersfield Orange Grove park just east of town. That night we had supper at Golden Corral with from left to right (me, Steve & Vickie Reigle, Dennis & Mary Kay Hill, and Dave & Betsy McNair 'my travel buddies')
 Into the Sierra's

Our next destination Saturday. We will use this park as home base for our Yosemite visit.
