Death Valley Visit

I took this picture at midnight from the Clark County Shooting Range RV Park. Wow what a power bill.

We left Las Vegas on Saturday and drove to Pahrump, NV. We will stage for here as a base camp for our trip to Death Valley and this area. Sunday we did drive to Death Valley. There is way too much to see in just one day.

The rock formations are unique in them selves. I don't think they are as vivid in color as Valley of Fire or Zion NP but still hold their own individual status.

The Mule trains reminded me of the 20 Mule Team Borax commercials as a kid.

I had to take a picture of the steam "Mule". Can you imagine working behind it with the temperature over 100 out side.
This is the trip to Badwaters Basin where the elevation is the lowest in the US.
