Trip to Bryce Canyon NP

I left Clark County Shooting Range RV Park this morning at 6:30. I drove into Utah and took UT 14 over the mountain. Here are some pictures of my trip. I was over 9600 feet when I found the snow on the plateau.

UT 14 was a good two lane road with 8% grades and switch backs. I took it easy and stopped at a lot of the pull offs and took pictures.

This was at 9600 plus feet elevation. A nice plateau covered in snow.
This lake was frozen over yet the one at 8600 feet was open water.
Just a sneak preview  before I get to Bryce Canyon NP

I passed a controlled burn that may have gotten out of hand. I passed a lot of fire apparatus heading to the fire.
This tunnel was one of three at 13'6" which is 3" higher than my clearance. This is in the Red Rock NP area before Bryce Canyon on UT 12.
Can not find the name of this peak.

A sneak preview of my visit to Bryce Canyon NP.
