Arches National Park

Utah has some great rock formations. This is a pictures from Gooseneck State Park to Moab, Ut.I can not judge height but it is over 400 feet tall. Notice the hole on the bottom. I am not sure what that is for.
These pictures were taken along route 218 along the Colorado River. I visited Robbie and his wife who are work camping at one of the BLM sites. They are responsible for 11 BLM camping sites.

After my visit I went to the Arches National Park. Notice the switch backs coming up from the visitor center.

I had to take this one. What do you think.

This reminds me of Bryce Canyon a little.

Young kids (have to be to have this equipment) with their climbing equipment.
Then I saw these climbers up there.
 Again a Bryce Canyon memory.

  1. Your photos are great. There were so many people there when we visited that we liked Canyonland much better.

  2. The night sky out there must be incredible. How was the eclipse/ Mars show from where you were? Up here in Portland, we had some cloud cover but still got to see it at different stages.
