In NC heading south

Pulled out of Ft. Meade Army Famcamp RV park Friday  morning, 23 Nov, at 2 am. I stopped south of Richmond and got about a 3 hour nap from six to nine. I am heading to Florida. I stopped at Jim and Vickies, New Bern, NC. for the night.

Today I moved down to Jacksonville, NC and am spending a couple days with Ruel and Harry Weatherly.
Boy the last ten days have been busy. I left the PA house and moved to Ft Meade on Tuesday the 13th of Nov. That evening I had the pleasure of watching Tori and Andrew at their Tae Kwon Do lessons.
Wed,14 Nov I had a Mongolian BBQ lunch with Herm Eddy and then supper that night with Andy and Elaine Hochreiter.
Thursday was grandparents day at Andrew’s school. That afternoon I meet with the Tax Consultant to prepare for my tax submissions this year. Later that afternoon was a NAP.
Friday morning I had breakfast with Chuck Olson and Mac McNeally. Then I drove down to the National Park Headquarters and picked up my National Park Senior Pass. It was around lunch time so I checked in with Chris Holme and we did lunch at the Deep Creek Restaurant. After lunch I stopped at the Dodge dealer and had the oil changed on the truck. Next was a visit with Harold and Angie. Then up to Tammy’s to pick up the Nikon Camera body ordered to replace the busted one. Oh yea I also ordered a beef sandwich from Chaps Pit Beef.  Umm good.
Saturday Bob and Neula Bradt stopped by and we went to lunch at Joe’s Seafood in Arundel Mills. Very good. That evening I had supper with Billy, Kelly, and Josie Ziegler.
Sunday was turkey dinner with the Canned Hams. They were the first camping group that Ann and I traveled with and learned from. It was great to see all and a great meal. Another stop at Tammys.
Monday I was the Parental unit for grandson, Andrew since mom and dad were working. I was glad I could help out. That evening I had dinner in Annapolis at the Red Hot and Blue, Memphis BBQ one of Ann’s and my favorites. I meet Chris and Lynn Holmes and Harold and Angie Nichols. It was less than 2 miles from our old Annapolis hous.

Tuesday was another Mongolian lunch with Herm and Bob Anderson.
Wednesday I got a haircut and chilled out.
Thursday was Thanksgiving with Tammy, Mike, Andrew, Tori, Harold and Angie Nichols. That night I hooked up the trailer, dumped the tanks and discounted the water. All I needed to do in the morning was unplug and hit the road “JACK”.
