I am back at the PA house until Tuesday (11/13/2012) when I will move to Ft. Meade, MD Family Campground until after Thanksgiving. That will put me closer to Tammy's family.
The "FREE" work at the Keystone service center was completed in a week. They replaced the kitchen slide outside panel. They had to make a new one. They had hoped to remove the old one and install the new one in a single day but that did not work out. So Thursday night I rented a Motel room. All the other nights they would finish work at 3 pm and I would move back into the trailer until 7 am the next day. The service center has four parking slots with water and 50 amp electric. There is a dump station beside that area. The other days they worked on removing the few graphics that I had not removed and installing the replacement ones. When they tried to clean the area where the graphics on the people door was located it created a grungy mess so I got a new door also.
I received the unit Friday afternoon at 3 pm and parked at the Elkhart 4H Fair Ground with full hook up. This allowed me to do laundry. I did not unhook the truck so Saturday morning I unhooked the electric, water and sewer and pulled out at 6 am. My goal was to go to Cambridge, OH. which was about half way. I passed (yes passed) Cambridge at 1300 with no desire to stop that early in the day. As I have said to others I guess I could smell the barn. So I continued on knowing there were not any obvious campground between there and the PA house. I pulled in at 6:30 pm parking in the dark. That was a 650 mile trip. Not one I want to do every day but yesterday I did not get sleeping and just cruised. The truck did great and the new braking on the trailer is WONDERFUL.
