Back to Goshen, In. Keystone Service Center

I moved up to Charlie and Judy Benton's drive in Colon, Mi on Wed, 31 Oct. What a great couple. This picture was taken from the house. Charlie had me park so I would not block access to the big garage doors. He had me plug into a 120 volt 20 amp electrical outlet. We had a great visit.

Charlie has a full 200 amp breaker box in his garage and commented that he would like to have 50 amp service for his Big Sky parked on the west end of the garage. I told him I was not licensed but knew how to do it so we went to the electrical store to get wire and box. We talked about a 50 amp service for his trailer at the opposite end of garage so a 86 foot wire run and then 30 amp for guests next to the power panel. Which is close to where I am parked. At the electrical store we found out for $8.00 more we could put in two 50 amp boxes instead of a 50 and 30 each. After pulling out pocket change we upgraded.

The install took about three hours and I am now on a full 50 amp service and Charlie is grinning. Love it when a plan comes together. This link show more of the electrical wiring photos as well as to visit to the local covered bridge and some more homestead shots.

Thursday Judy was able to get Nikki a grooming appointment so she looks better.

Saturday we went to the RV Museum in Elkhart. Very interesting visit. My Nikon D70s camera just quit working. The battery is good but it will not take pictures. So I have that on the repair list.

I ate evening meals with them and Judy is a great cook. They did let me serve sour dough pancakes Saturday night. I guess most of you are not surprised.  Oh yes, Judy did take the recipe and starter.

Today, 11/4/2012 I move back to Goshen, In. for some service work at the Keystone Service Center. I do not know how long that will take. When that is done I go back to the PA house for a little business and then to Maryland to spend until after Thanksgiving with family and friends.
