Lake Havasu City - London Bridge

I left the Yuma Proving Grounds on Thursday the 28th of Feb. The canon below is one of two at the entrance to the YPG off of SR95. You can not miss them.

I have been asked for photos of me so this is from my last trip up to the Imperial Dam National Park.

I saw this needle hole in the rock and had to take a picture again from my last trip up to the Imperial Dam National Park.

I had to take this photo of the Spanish / Desert architecture seen out here. For us Eastern folks it is different.

The entrance to the Lake Havasu City Visitors center and the London Bridge in the background. Then a shot of one of the arch ways and then the bridge linking to the island. Each brick was removed in London, maked for its exact location and reassembled here. Quit an organization feat in it self.

I parked on some BLM land about three miles north of the Lake Havasu City airport just off of SR 95. The  rock formation is called the glove.

Friday I continued my trip to Laughlin, NV where I am parked until Sunday when I will move on up to Logandale, NV and visit friends.

  1. Amazing how that town was created out of nothing and thru the will on one man.
