Saturday, 26 Jan 2013, we moved from the BLM lands at Quartzsite to Yuma, AZ. It was around a 100 mile drive. Here is a shot of three of us (Greg & Kate Kerlin, me and Rob & Pat Richardson)
registering at Del Pueblo RV Park and Tennis Resort. We drove in rain most the way down which washed the dust off but the crud mud was still there. Jim Bender & Kristi Silver joined us later.

We planned on staying here for two nights so we could do laundry and get a good flush/dump on our holding tanks. It is better to flush them out when they are dumped. That is not an option in the desert. We found there was too much to do and see and not enough time for just two nights so we added and extra day. We will now move out to the BLM area near Imperial Damn Tuesday, 29th. One couple will do an advanced party recon today. I have an appointment to have the truck oil changed and 20K mile service.

Speaking of washing the crud off, yesterday, 27 Jan, I washed the truck and trailer. After that I installed the MOC LOGO graphic and my membership number on the nose and rear of the trailer and put the MOC Quartzsite Circle photo on my entertainment/kitchen slide next to the door. I am using January and the Qsite circle as my transition to the next phase of my life. I can not change what has passed so I just move forward and take it one day at a time. The MOC family is great and have and continue to help me move forward. Of course my family and close friends are always there keeping track of me.

While here we have had happy hour each night and one of the couples takes the lead for dinner with all of us chipping in. Saturday night it was spaghetti and last night chicken. I just mentioned the main dish. All the additional dishes were great too. I should mention the appetizers also.  Just so no one is surprised I did make sour dough pancakes Sunday morning and all seven of us enjoy them. How can a person loose weight or at least hold it around all this good food. We did walk for about an hour yesterday morning before the breakfast.
