The light rain started last night and Zig's farm received 0.3 of an Inch this morning when I was packing out. Just a light drizzle.
Yesterday Zig had a dump truck load of gravel delivered. He let me use the tractor with bucket and rear blade to spread the gravel. It allowed me to pull off with no drag on the rear end.
I pulled down to the rail road car bridge and lined up the first shot. Zig watched my trailer tires and it was a safe simple crossing.
Zig and I had a good two weeks. We were able to reminisce and support each other.
Today I pulled into a rest area about 60 miles from my stop and took an hour nap then continued to the campsite for tonight. I am parked at Hickory Hollow Campground, Utica, Il. A Passport America park. Very nice park.
Tomorrow is the last 200 miles to the Elkhart 4H Fair Grounds in Goshen.
