Burros and Humming birds

I have learned from the other campers with me that the Humming birds are very active in this area. The ladies (Kristi, Kate and Pat) chipped in and presented me with this feeder. It is mounter with suction cup on my rear desk window. I get to see them any time I am on the computer. The MOC family is so great.

Below are photos of two of five burros that are calling this area home. We are not suppose to feed them for obvious reasons but I am sure the locals do. As you can see they are not afraid of humans.

Yesterday on our walk I found the RC air field. The rocks were literally sweep out of the way. The field is just packed dirt.  There were two gas planes and one electric. I will be up there flying Monday if the wind is not too strong.

They also had a propeller grave yard. I can relate to that busting two props already during take off since I got here.  Rocks acted like chocks on take off and keep the plane from rolling so it just tipped over. This was before I found the rc field.
